Local-first storage
All accounts, transactions, budgets, categories, and reports are stored only in a local database on your own device — never on our servers.
No tracking or analytics
The application contains no analytics SDKs, no crash telemetry, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers of any kind.
No account required
No account, sign-up, or user profile is required for a Base or Pro license. Update checks are optional and explicit.
The application
BudgetFLEX™ is local-first. All accounts, transactions, budgets, categories, and reports you create are stored only in a local database on your own device. This data is never transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by FLEXEC Advisory LLC's servers.
BudgetFLEX™ contains no analytics SDKs, no crash telemetry, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers of any kind. The only outbound request the application makes is license validation: a one-way, non-identifying device fingerprint (a hash of your platform, CPU architecture, and hostname) confirms your license key is valid and how many devices it's activated on. This fingerprint cannot be reversed to identify you, and is never used for tracking, advertising, profiling, or analytics.
Update checks are optional and explicit — the application does not phone home automatically in the background. No account, sign-up, or user profile is required for a Base or Pro license.

budgetflex.app is the marketing and purchase site for BudgetFLEX™ — separate from the application itself, and this section covers it specifically.
This site uses basic first-party website analytics, provided through our website hosting platform, to understand aggregate traffic such as page views and referring pages. This does not identify you individually, is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and is never combined with anything you do inside the application.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may share your IP address with Google as part of delivering those fonts. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to us.

Purchases and licensing
Purchases made on budgetflex.app are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for our software. Paddle collects the information needed to complete the transaction (name, email address, billing details, and tax information) under its own privacy notice. We receive only the order and license information necessary to deliver your purchase and provide support. Purchases made through an app store are handled by that store.
Support communications
If you contact us for support, we will see the information you choose to send (such as your email address and the contents of your message) and use it solely to respond to your request. We do not use support messages for marketing.
Your rights
Because we do not hold your application data, most access and deletion requests are satisfied by managing files on your own device. For order and license records, or for any request under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA, email us and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information.
Children's privacy
BudgetFLEX™ is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on budgetflex.app.
